A German Athletic Association (Deutscher Turnerbund) Belt Buckle; Published Example Auction Archive 1870 in LondonIn stamped brass with stamped brass face plate affixed by two rivets, unmarked reverse, measuring 48. 3 mm x 62. 7 mm, worn, very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 565 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
