Germany, Third Reich. A Patriotic Belt Buckle, from the John R. Angolia Collection Auction Archive Burma 1886-87(Patriotische Grtelschnalle). Constructed of fire gilded brass, the obverse consisting of an oval frame with scalloped edges, with raised swastika situated at each corner of a frame composed of Grecian latticework, surrounding a central catch and claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), a high quality example privately purchased by an NSDAP supporter in the early days of the movement, in extremely fine condition.
